Our team is also reachable through the easy to use Digitail for Pets app. Featuring chat, appointment scheduling and visit history.
The bond between each owner and their pet is unique.
Themobilevet.ca was founded from a desire to understand this bond, develop a closer connection with pets and their families and integrate this for individualized pet care.

Simple. We come to you! Home visits allow us to get to know your family members where they are most relaxed. This means more thorough assessments and more individualized treatment plans. Themobilevet.ca offers annual membership options helpful for budgeting. Premium monthly memberships coming soon.

Proudly serving customers up to 20 km surrounding Kars, ON (K0A 2E0) with a focus on North Gower,
Osgoode, Barrhaven, Greely, Manotick, Richmond and Kemptville.

Dr. Marissa has always been interested in the human/animal bond. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of St. George’s in Grenada in 2016 and completed her clinical year at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. She has been practicing small animal medicine since graduation and has become increasingly interested in wellness and preventative care as well as comfort for senior large breed dogs. Prior to Veterinary School, Dr. Marissa completed a Master's in Neuroscience from Carleton University.
Dr. Marissa was born and raised in Sherbrooke, Qc but frequently visited her grandparents who lived in the Leeds Grenville area. She lives in Kars with her wife, 2 daughters, 3 dogs and 1 cat, all of which you will see on this website.
In her spare time, Dr. Marissa enjoys spending time with her young family, camping, listening to podcasts and continuing to expand her knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine and mental health.
Dr. Marissa is a licensed veterinarian in the province of Ontario through the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. She is a member of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. She received her certificate of completion in Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy (CAETA) Master Program in 2022. Dr. Marissa recently received her certification in Whole Energy Body Balance Program for Pet Practitioner Training and is excited to be able to offer additional preventative treatment options for healthy pets or help those in discomfort.
Dr. Marissa has been offering pets and their parents premium veterinary care as the owner of Rideau River Mobile Veterinary practicing as themobilevet.ca since 2022.
